I have a regular habit of checking my search engine rankings and Google Analytics to keep track of any sudden changes with my traffic and rankings. Well the most recently I found some really noticeable improvements in Google ranking of my main keywords. I was first not sure whether I checked them correctly or not and performed the test again manually and via paid ranking checkers as well but the results were still same. The green signals were really there.
I immediately checked the webmaster world and found many threads there confirming the changes in both ranking and traffic. Everyone was talking of some update, more eventually a Panda one but no one was actually sure about it.
Google Denied any Update
I kept an eye to get official confirmation from Google for next few days but no luck. Then there come the statement from the search engine Giant. Google cleared the doubts via Barry Schwartz stating there was no update – neither a Panda nor something else.
Well like many others I was still confusing but there was no other way than getting convinced over it.
Google Finally Came up with Panda Update Confirmation
That time when many webmasters were still wondering over Google’s denial of any update the next comes one more statement from Google. Yes just after two days of denying any Panda or other update Google finally had one more shocking announcement. All webmasters were shocked over announcement of the next Panda refresh. It was the 24th refreshment of the Panda.
But Like others I was shocked a lot as I came across a statement where Google said last year that they would not do any Panda refresh before the Holidays season.
Well even after the update my rankings are still the same retaining the same improvements that happened to them on 22nd of January. However this update proved beneficial to me in terms of Ranks however, but I am sure that many of the readers there might not be able to enjoy the Holidays as joyfully as they could have if this update was not here just before Christmas and New Year.
Google Panda Update Every Month
It has been seen that in the past few months, Google continues to roll Panda updates and every month they are trying to remove bad or copied content from search so do not copy content.
But I would still recommend them to enjoy this time of the year and start the New Year by planning new strategies to make a quality site with great content that can surpass any Panda in near future. Till then Have Happy Holidays!
